# Accounts

The Account page is the first page you see when you [Log](https://my.foxmetrics.com/login) in to Foxmetrics. Accounts in FoxMetrics represent specific businesses or [users](https://docs.foxmetrics.com/getting-started/account-management/users).&#x20;

FoxMetrics allows multiple accounts.  So a Retail firm, ABC Group could request separate accounts for each of its five divisions and all their accounts will appear on the account page. This way, each store can operate separate accounts all assessable to the business executives.

### Editing an Account

The owners of each account can **edit** them to change the **name** or update the account **description**.

1. To do this, login to your account.
2. On the account page, click the **edit** button on the account you want to modify.
3. Enter a new name/description
4. Click **Submit**.
